Maybe that was a novelty with him playing there against Swansea. All I know that he hasn’t been the same player on Saturday and again tonight. |

It’s not only about the fouls,it’s where he can impact the game like he did against derby and Swansea, and that isn’t by chasing lost causes in the middle of our attack. He gets full backs ruffled by running at them with the ball, not by watching it sail over his head. |

How many more times is Smyth going to be played in the wrong position? He was wasted on Saturday and the same thing happened tonight. This is our most attacking player and he never sees the ball playing up front with Kone.
Get him wide and get some chalk on his boots instead of Saito attempting to play there. |

I’ll be on the 1.30 out of Stowmarket and walking from Liverpool st as usual.I should be in the White Horse about 4.45 and gasping for a Guinness or two. |

When I watch my local non league club you can hear all 22 players in the ref’s ear all game.Everyone of them all see things differently to what the ref does. And they make sure that they tell him about it too.Even my daughter’s Sunday team was the same.
I take my hat off to anyone who wants their time getting abused for 90 minutes every week.Except Keith Stroud of course. |

Why can’t they move to the Linford Christie stadium? The council should approve that ok. |

They lost one game and won at Millwall.Surely they should be stripped of the 3 points that they won by fielding an ineligible player?Teams get made to replay a cup game when they play someone they are not supposed to,or they get thrown out of the competition. It seems it’s ok in a league game. |

I missed the 7-0 win over Burnley in 1979 as my brother decided that was the day he was going to choose for his wedding day. |

I didn’t think the refs were supposed to worry about what the score was when making a decision.Otherwise they should be taking account of a player feigning injury when their team is winning.
As you said,he was very quick to start counting when we were taking throws and goal kicks. |

Anyone know why he booked Kone after he’d scored the penalty? |

It wasn’t much better on the trains.I got to Colchester around 7pm and the greater Anglia app said that the next train to Stowmarket was at 21.25.Luckily the app was wrong and there was a train waiting on the platform, and I made it home just after 8pm.Absolutely soaked to the skin but who cares after a performance like that today? |

I was talking with the bloke who sells the community raffle tickets in the White Horse before the game, and he was saying that he was accompanying a QPR fan today who was probably attending his last ever QPR game due to a terminal illness.
At least they saw a fantastic performance and a victory in their last game. |
