Yes you did mention about people not having or using technology you didn't offer a solution for those people, who I said would be least able to afford additional costs. I think it's the way it's worded, additional costs at the end, it's as if it's in the small print. Instead of charging an additional £1 to print off a ticket at the ticket office just increase tickets by a pound and tell people you get a pound discount for printing it yourself. It's just about how you word it to avoid negatively. It just annoys me when you see something for say £20 online and by the time you reach the checkout you've got booking fees arrangements fees postage and f*** knows what else added. For what it's worth I think the ticket prices are more than fair and will be great value if we have entertaining football to watch |

To be honest I don't see it as moaning about an extra pound here and an extra fiver there. There is probably so few people that this would really be an issue for that to me it just makes sense to absorb the cost. You could have also just added £5 to the cost of a season ticket and offered the plastic card if requested as most people on here seem happy enough with the increase in season ticket prices. It's more to do with how it is perceived by some rather than the actual cost. Of course you have conveniently ignored the fact that not everyone owns a smartphone or has access to a computer/printer and that those people are far more likely to be least able to afford any additional costs. Personally I won't be buying a season ticket this year, if the team starts playing good football that manages to keep me awake then I will be paying on the day and hope a half season ticket is in the offing about christmas |

First of all great news and my heartfelt thanks to all those that have made this possible. If my maths is correct this deal means that 92% of the class A shares have now been purchased. What happens to the remaining 8%? Is this what the existing shareholders such as those who bought them to fight off the hostile takeover and the trust now own on a pro rata basis? or are those shares completely different and essentially defunct? I didn't my my shares to make money but it would be nice to still be able to attend shareholders meetings and just wondering what all this means |

Have got my ticket and will be coming up for this one. Couple of questions, which parts of the ground will be open will it just be the main stand? and will there be bucket collections going round at the game? |

Why do they think they are above rules and regulations? Could it possibly be because their fans are a bunch of absolute entitled..............................(insert as appropriate) |

Fans running onto the pitch and letting off flares when they equalised, and they wonder why they had to play games behind closed doors. It's not their fault though they are the victims, the NWCFL obviously have a vendetta against them that's why they unjustly took points from them, how dare they, they should be grateful that such a massive club is in their league think of all the money the other teams must be getting due to the massive away following. It's a travesty I tell you, a travesty |

Whether yo agree with him or not politically he is a great orator, a trait that seems to be lacking in many politicians these days, then again so was Boris Johnson so make of that what you will. Galloway's speech at the senate when he defended himself against American accusations that he was funding money for Saddam Hussain is a mastery of the art and he absolutely destroys his accusers. It's available on you tube if anybody wants to watch. |

First of all credit must go to both the club and O'neills for getting this done and doing it so quickly after the end of the season. Discussions must have been going on for a while so that's positive. FWIW I voted A4 although it's a bit similar to this seasons kit. B1 as it's bonkers but really like B2 which would also have made my shortlist. C3 I like the black cross reminds me a bit of the Parma shirts. D2 like the white stripes on the shoulder. Overall B1 just edges it for me although it might give me a migraine! and all would IMO be better with white shorts. |

Who would want to work on that site? Highly skilled, well trained and competent workers that's who. That will cost you top dollar if you want to do it right. Not to mention the additional time it would take to build the facilities and start bringing an income to the club given how long remediation work will take. For that reason it makes much more sense to look elsewhere for a site. Unless there are some very hefty grants available. |

There was no pleasure in that trip to Wembley although I did blag free transport from Chelmsford on a Spurs supporters coach. Now if they had completed the new stadium it would have been different |

Oh come on, we all need to have more empathy for these premier league teams. They have so many games to play, so they obviously can't have replays. They need the time off to bring football to Saudi Arabia, China the USA. Those poor supporters who don't get to see their teams play and will pay $1000's of dollars for the privilege. |

Tonight will be a tough test, Borehamwood if they win will have survival in their own hands, they play Ebbsfleet on Saturday. Do we have the balls to go at them from the start, any of the pedestrian passing it around at the back and I feel we're in for a right tw@tin. |
| Forum Reply | Dorking at 22:12 13 Apr 2024
All this is true but when we play 75% of the game at walking pace it's total boredom. We had a brief period just before the enforced Christmas break when it seemed to click and I thought we could kick on. Unfortunately the opposite happened and we started back from square 1 with the players apparently fearful of taking a gamble. Hayes excepted. |
| Forum Reply | Dorking at 21:43 13 Apr 2024
Nothing wrong with possession based, it's the pedestrian paced over playing at the back until we lose the ball and invite pressure on ourselves that frustrates the fans. (or at least this fan) |

Much as I want to, I can't disagree with any of that! My fear at the start of the season was that we would do a Scunthorpe, drop through the division and be playing National League North. In that respect Jim has achieved the primary goal. However the pedestrian style of football saps the will to live and the opposition in general in this division has been awful. With the players we have had at our disposal, any type of attacking intent would have had us comfortably occupying a play off spot. The fact that we have not, and moreover that Jim seems to think we are playing fantastic, brave football is why for me he has to go. As others have said he's a nice guy but where do nice guys finish? |
| Forum Reply | Dorking at 17:29 13 Apr 2024
I don't doubt it. I just say it as I see it. Altrincham aside this season has been one of frustration rather than enjoyment. I sit there in the Pearl Street thinking what the f*** am I doing here again, expecting/hoping for a different result when we play the same predictable way. What's that definition of madness again? |
