Totally agree, not seeing it or recognising it is the scary thing! But recognising spin, does not mean that the story is false or untrue, it might just mean its been sugar coated.
And personally I think its pretty clear we do that, not that I have a problem with it. As I've stated a number of times, I'm currently really happy with NC, and like the way he runs things (for the most part). Its about time we had some clear direction. |

Surely nobody can ever argue that we don't always ensure we put the slant on whatever story we want? As you say, every company in the world does that, always has.
It just makes sense, tell the truth but dress it up in a manor that is acceptable to the owners, end users etc.
Not doing this would be professional suicide.

Isn't that the whole point of spin, your not meant to know the truth is being spun, so unless you had inside knowledge pretty much everything you hear/read could be spin. Surely post a link that was proof, would be pretty much impossible, unless it was accompanied by a document explaining all the inner workings.
