Will Nigel Adkins look to bring in anyone on loan before the window closes next week ?

With seven days before the loan window closes the question will be whether NA looks to bring in anyone else on loan, in recent weeks the squad has been weakened by the departure on loan of Ant Pulis, Paul Wotton Joseph Mills & Jason Puncheon, in truth the first two were not really going to get a game, but Puncheon had been a regular up to the last few weeks when he fell out of favour.

Adkins indicated in his post match interview at Carlisle that he was not happy with the form of several un named players, although most Saints supporters would be able to take a good guess, now those fans will be looking to see what Adkins will do about it, will he replace them with someone from the squad or will he try and utilise the loan system himself.

The system is somewhat complicated, there are two types of loan avaiilable, with the emergency way, as we had with Nick Bignall you can bring in unlimited players, but with the longer loans you are only allowed a maximum of five in any 16 man squad, we of course have 2 Guly & Chaplow so do have the capacity to bring in a long term loan or three before the window shuts.

To be blunt its hard to see where we could get anyone in better than we already have, in my opinion its time to axe a few underperformers and give others a chance to shine
