The match had been scoreless at half-time before a second half goalfest with the South Americans running out the victors. Burke, who is yet to be involved at first team level for the Blues and has a year left on his contract, and his Northern Irish team-mates next take on Mexico in Coleraine on Monday before the semi-finals and finals. Elsewhere, former Blues keeper Cody Cropper, who has been on trial with Southampton, skippered the US U20s as they lost their first game of the tournament 1-0 to Denmark.
