Swansea City are getting used to life on the road in the FA Cup as they found themselves drawn away from home for the 7th successive time this afternoon when the second round draw was made.
The Swans last home draw in the FA Cup was against Preston in the fourth round three seasons ago and, for the moment, deprives the Liberty Stadium of a first ever FA Cup tie.
Former England cricket captains Mike Gatting and Graham Gooch drew out a long away trip for the Swans as they head North to lock horns once again with former midfielder Dave Penney who has recently taken charge at League Two outfit Darlington. The tie will take place on the weekend of December 2nd and for the victors there will be the chance of a huge pay day when the Premiership and Championship clubs enter past that stage.
There will be a guaranteed two non league clubs in the Third Round of the competition thanks to the last four balls of the draw.
The full draw reads as follows
Farsley Celtic/MK Dons v Blackpool Cheltenham/Scunthorpe v Wrexham Brighton v Stafford/Maidenhead Bristol C v Gillingham Shrewsbury/Hereford v Port Vale Macclesfield/Walsall v Rochdale/Hartlepool Stockport v Wycombe Weymouth/Bury v Chester Barnet v Northampton/Grimsby Tranmere v Peterborough King's Lynn v OldhamDarlington v Swansea CitySalisbury City v Nottingham F Torquay v Leyton O Bristol R v AFC Bournemouth Bradford v Havant & Waterlooville/Millwall Swindon v Morecambe Mansfield v Doncaster Chelmsford/Aldershot v Basingstoke Rushden v Tamworth
