Billy Davies had little option but to accept his side were second best on the day at the Liberty Stadium

The Nottingham Forest manager told their official website "Swansea were a much better side, their passing was better and they looked much sharper and we gave the ball away too much.

"They played against a Forest side at the right time, hitting the post with a minute to go is typical of the way our last few games have gone.

"Getting to this break is crucial, I am confident that our bad period is now over, it will be a well deserved break.

"I am delighted we have got to the end, we will now have a well-deserved break which will give the players time off with their families and we will have time to get our injured players back.

"This is now an eight-game league and the last eight games will be very interesting, it is far from over and I'm very excited.

"This is not about where we are with eight games to go, you have to look no further than Blackpool this time last season, they were in ninth place with 51 points, Forest were on 67 points, but it was Blackpool who ended up in the Premiership.

"There is everything to play for, we're sitting in the top six and I have no doubt anything's possible, including second place and automatic promotion."
