From six-feet-under to the Skies' the limit....with a trailer thrown in for good measure

The "Time to go Massimo" group staged further protests over the Italian's ownership of the club before and during the win over Bolton on Saturday.

A trailer (pictured) was paraded up and down Elland Road as fans made their way to the game against fellow-strugglers Bolton. Lamenting the failure of Cellino's proclamation that 2015/16 would be a "beautiful season", the trailer also contained reference to one of many Cellino' quotes whereby he stated he would leave Leeds if he wasn't welcome.

Later on Lowfields Road, the macabre sight of a coffin in Leeds colours being laid to rest could be seen in front of a large gathering of mourners. This symbolised the so-called "death of the club" under Cellino say the protesters. A wreath of white roses accompanied the coffin and an eulogy was read out.

Around about 20 minutes before kick-off a microlight aircraft trailing a purple-lettered banner stating "Massimo Time to Go" did around six circuits of the stadium. It disappeared only to reappear about five minutes after kick-off for two/three circuits before departing again. The fly-past had been originally scheduled for the Forest game three-weeks earlier but was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

The crowd-funded protests are thought-provoking and subtle; as opposed to previous protests which have seen large, angry mobs baying for the blood of those at the helm.

Whether or not this makes Cellino's exit more swifter remains to be seen. The fly-past didn't invoke much of a response from the 21,707 fans who turned up to watch quite a dreadful game. In the Kop however, Massimo could count on the support of one fan who raised an Italian flag in celebration at the end of the whites' seeing off the Trotters 2-1.
