Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme — The Voice of Spotland — is back for this week’s friendly matches against Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic.

The reduced 16-page programme starts with a front cover image showing eleven first team players at the club’s recent publicity photo-shoot.

Manager Keith Hill welcomes Blackburn and Wigan to Spotland and reviews pre-season to date and we look back at other friendly games against those clubs over the last 30+ years.

We have a testing pre-season half-time quiz to get you thinking, as well as previews of the friendlies at Macclesfield and FC United and the first home game of the new season against Peterborough.

Meanwhile, both Blackburn and Wigan get two pages of coverage and we have a round-up of action photos from the end of last season.
