Looked like the most we would get from this game was more in hope than belief. Very poor performance all over the pitch. To be fair Liverpool could have doubled the score but for their poor finishing in second half. About the only thing to be said in our defence is that we're not the first side to concede goals from Salah and Firmino, who looked very Sharp when it came to scoring thier goals.
Tough comments from some about Carrillo's game, but to be fair he's suffering from the same problem that Gabbiadini experienced..a lack of service and midfield creativity

Tadic is an enigma, he goes from MoM ... to the Invisible Man. Hoedt still hasn't got to grips with the Prem. and whatever critics he may have , I'd still prefer Yoshida in the back line - especially in our present situation. Lemina's twitter may have been about his own performance rather than a criticism of his team mates. TV commentator I heard suggested he was suffering from " a stomach problem ". Enough said .!

If we are to get through this and survive, it has to be done away from home especially as we will play most of the teams around us at the bottom, and hope that by the time Man City have won the title by 20 Points...they won't feel obliged to play Aguero and Sterling in our last match of the season - it could be vital.
