Southampton Coach Leaves St Mary's For Forest Green Rovers
Monday, 17th Jul 2023 20:16

Saints have lost B team coach Dave Horseman, who has left to become manager of Forest Green Rovers, bizarrely though this is national headlines, due to who he has replaced.

The BBC have announced that Southampton B team coach Dave Horseman has left the club to become manager of Forest Green Rovers.

The story is big news as he has replaced what was the first ever woman manager in the men's game Professional football.

He has taken over from Hannah Dingley, who became the first woman to manage a professional men's team in England, when she was given the job on an interim basis less than a fortnight ago on July 5th.

Last season Horseman guided the B team to promotion and was also promoted to Reuben Selles coaching staff after the Spaniard was given the Saints job until the end of the season.

Two weeks in charge out of season is hardly a first worth reporting to be honest!
Horseman has done well for us & deserves a chance to take a step forward in his career. You never know with our turnover of managers he may well be back soon 🤣

Careless loss of another good attribute.
See Willie Caballero's taken assistant manager's role at Leicester.
Any news of us getting an adequate replacement for DH?
