Danny becomes a rose in County's side Thursday, 22nd Jul 2010 16:24 The Hatters have completed their third transfer of the summer after swooping for rookie defender Jordan Rose. The youngster has been on trial at Edgeley Park over the past few weeks and has signed a one-year deal. The 20-year-old was playing for Zamaretto Premier side Weymouth FC last season although he has joined as a free agent after being released by the Terras in March following a mass clear out at the Wessex Stadium. Weymouth had been hoping to re-sign him after he had been training with them recently although the Hatters have beaten them to his signature after handing him a one year contract and the chance of League football. Jordan has made 3 appearances as a trialist whilst the County managerial staff have taken a look at him with his latest coming in Tuesday's win over Northwich Victoria. Danny helped keep a clean sheet in a 5-0 win and even set up a goal for Danny Pilkington following a surging run where he brought the ball out of defence, evaded several tackles before playing 'Pilks' through on goal with a delightful ball. The former Southampton, Salisbury and Weymouth player is a right side central defender. Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
