It's the same at youth level, any young kid with any talent is taken on and left to die in the under 21 league rather than get 150 games in the football league before their 20th birthday, then when these kids do make a loan move aged 19 or 20 they are so inexperienced they look hopeless much like Will Keane.
The FA's answer rather than stop clubs doing this is let the big clubs sign even more kids and have a B team |  | | |
