The meeting "the big four" + Liverpool had last week with that American company smells of politics too. Premier League clubs are run for Money now. Premier League is 'worth' more than the Champions League. There's been rumours that some of Europe's bigger clubs want to make a restructured European League (Big clubs only) but the sheer value of the PL means the English clubs aren't playing game. I don't see UEFA cutting PL numbers, they'll probably shuffle things around so both England and Italy have four teams. There's also the issue with BT Sport's £1bn television contract and nose-diving tv ratings. |  | | |
