Leanne and plaid - what happens now 22:43 - Jun 24 with 3756 views | Highjack | So their number one policy of begging Brussels for more money ad nauseum has gone down the shi itter, where do they go from here? Perhaps the party of Wales will have to actually think of a way for Wales to create her own wealth and well being. I see carwyns knee jerk reaction is to beg Westminster for more money via the Barnett formula. How original and thoughtful our esteemed politicians are.

I agree with the sentiment in your OP. If we don't want to beg for money, we need to make it ourselves. In response to Lord Bony, I'm not even sure there is a plan to sustain growth in Wales without the EU money. How have so few people made contingency plans, either side of the border, either side of the campaign.

Leanne and plaid - what happens now on 18:03 - Jun 26 by Kilkennyjack | Lisa - only 41,000 people needed to vote remain instead of leave and wales is a tie. Lets not pretend everyone in wales voted out, in fact as many as damn it voted in. A welsh only vote would be very different. The blue on blue Tory in fighting dominated Brexit media coverage. Be different without that circus, I do agree though that the welsh vote is against the national self interest. People have been fed lies and duped. |
Actually England only needed to score one more goal last night and that would have been a tie as well. Are there a number of misty eyed romantics on here kind of forgetting that the EU removed the democratically elected governments of Itally and Greece just a couple of years ago and replaced them with teams of unelected EU officials. Or is that just an inconvenient reminder that the new nationalist government of Leanne the not so bright would always be subservient to the EU and liable for removal anytime it tries to actually be independent from EU strictures? Best of luck with that one then.
