I agree with the sentiment in your OP. If we don't want to beg for money, we need to make it ourselves. In response to Lord Bony, I'm not even sure there is a plan to sustain growth in Wales without the EU money. How have so few people made contingency plans, either side of the border, either side of the campaign. |  |

Are there a number of misty eyed romantics on here kind of forgetting that the EU removed the democratically elected governments of Itally and Greece just a couple of years ago and replaced them with teams of unelected EU officials.
Or is that just an inconvenient reminder that the new nationalist government of Leanne the not so bright would always be subservient to the EU and liable for removal anytime it tries to actually be independent from EU strictures?
