Semi rural locations near Swansea 20:41 - Dec 11 with 8177 viewscackinthesackjack

a work colleague is moving to the area soon and wants to live in a quiet semi-rural location. I was thinking Felindre but can someone suggest nice areas that fit the above criteria?

Thanks in advance

Just live near the beach. Any beach. Murton is nice, but you can't quite see the sea. That's why people pay more for Langland.

I've lived inland and it was only when I moved back to somewhere with a view of a bay that I felt fully at ease again. Unquantifiable and subjective, I know.

Here's another 50k a year bellend that doesn't want to be disturbed, because he suffers from the mysterious concept called stress, and a superiority concept.

There's a well-proportioned property available in Cilybebyll, just twenty minutes from town.

If you live there, you pay someone to see it for you.

Unfortunately not, but it does have a library room that can hold 10,000 volumes.

Which way do the scales tip for you there, Mr Larkin?

The road between the Halfway Trallwn, and Skewen.
Buy a plot of land or a house there, several farms and a view of the sea and only 10 minutes from Wales' only Premiership Club !

Blaenymaes is semi rural and his money would go a long way if he's prepared to compromise a little....

And Penlan on the common there. Come home to a living fire.

Oooh, and Ystrad Road, just after the dog track, (whichever way you're coming from).

Find these sorts of threads to be generally car-crash viewing with many cringeworthy examples of snobbery from the same sorts of people who have no doubt at some point boasted of Swansea or their area as tough or proud.

I agree.

My favorite on these threads is the guy who goes nuts I someone says "The Gower" instead of just "Gower".

If these well educated 'above the world' types.. actually pick up a book for once.. and look at the main proprietor of the concept 'stress'.. then they'll come across a man called Sigmund Freud.. I'll leave it at that.

But I don't rate educated types myself.. bit 'dull' they all are.

They're even worse.. they just love becoming alcoholics.. and power tripping nutters.

So many wealthy people with red faces.. and disturbed speech.. need to grow up, half the c*nts.

That's the one.

He speaks for all us Gowerites. I've been told he brushes his teeth with Gower Gold ale and is starting a petition to stop tourists (i.e. anyone who doesn't live in Mumbles) from socializing anywhere west of the West Cross Inn
