| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Has Usain Bolt bought Cardiff City?! on 16:09 - Mar 8 with 5927 views | blueytheblue | F*ck me... I get Annis' mob believe it but creditted you guys with more intelligence. It stemmed from a web site with a url "fox-news24". The page has zero Fox branding, copyright attribution not given to Fox. The site also claimed Beckham had been arrested at an airport with drugs packages.... [Post edited 8 Mar 2017 16:09]

Going back to October for fake news? Thought that time period would be painful for you to revisit tbh. Asked a question, gave an answer taking the p*ss and playing to the gallery...

Innit. People believe clear parody sites - albeit the one this originated from isn't particularly funny. There are some great parody sites out there, that one has stories that I'm sure sounded funny in their heads, just they lacked the ability to write them well. Simple research would have shown that site also claimed Beckham had been arrested for smuggling cocaine... It shows as well the problem isn't with "fake news" it's that people believe anything on the internet without bothering to check. EDIT: Example. On a certain other site obsessed with us, a photo from the Norwich end is cited as evidence of an incredibly low crowd. Anyone with eyes would of course note that :- a) Groundstaff are visible on the pitch. b) No players are on the pitch. c) The visible scoreboard in the background reads "0-0" with the time of 00:00. Anybody with a brain cell would conclude the photo was taken before the game kicked off. The photo therefore cannot be used as conclusive evidence as to attendance because as we all know, people tend to stay in concourses till just before kickoff. Drinking, eating, watching Sky/BT et al. Has Usain Bolt bought Cardiff City?! on 09:35 - Mar 9 with 4984 views | londonlisa2001 | Quite why anyone would believe that Cardiff City was worth £150m is beyond me. Similarly, quite why anyone would believe Usain Bolt has £150m to spend on anything, let alone a football club is beyond me. And he's rather famously a Man Utd supporter anyway.

Your ground staff are more productive on the pitch than your players. And probably more entertaining too What was Norwich, about 15,000? That's probably about your non-PL level isn't it? We were around the same in the Championship, dipping lower for crappy mid-week winter games. Both Cities suffer from poor numbers given the size of catchments (although we're obviously limited, but I expect we'd struggle to fill 30,000) At least we don't get scenes like these very often. Almost as many turned up to watch our U21s in the micky mouse cup this season.
