Now see you assume I should know that If you request to join (which I think you can via the link below) then someone (I don't know who but someone) will check the database and approve it https://www.facebook.com/groups/Trustmembers/

Trust Membership Renewals on 09:44 - Aug 8 with 12168 views | Jackfath | I've rejoined over the last few years and have had little communication and action. I would like to see some sort of statement from the new board outlining why I should join, and more importantly what they are now going to do within their tenure.

Same here really JF. I would like to hear of people's thoughts on the Trust first.

I wonder if you are curious about the mediation also? Gone extremely quiet?.... It does rather seem to be dragging on? And bearing in mind the way the share deal pay-out was seemingly betrayed and kicked into the long grass previously?....Looks like there me be something dodgy going on here again? Speaking as a long term ex-member myself, I reckon many may rejoin if they see admirable news flow/communication/movement from the Trust?

Trust Membership Renewals on 11:18 - Aug 8 with 12103 views | Jackfath | I just feel a request from the Trust to rejoin without any up to date news and a course of action (as far as they are able to communicate) is taking the piss somewhat. Especially as Pip has said several times since getting back on board that they need to increase numbers. Perhaps an immediate "newsletter" and then a membership drive would have been a better idea?

Aye, the mediation with SCST? That came to light on here 18th May this year... Any vital new communication on that doing the rounds? It'll be 3 months in a little over a week.........No updates since the last update nearly three months back? https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/forum/224223/trust-update.../

Maybe that was what Phil was talking about when he said yesterday he/they were waiting on "An-other"( non board member) to be able to give a clear update on all things. I believe he said 48 - 72 hours. So maybe we should hear more Tomorrow or Friday at latest.

Yeah be nice to know, cos that is imo 'THE' topic/SCST related issue currently of most interest to many. It does look that the club will not be having a relegation struggle this season? That will be a plus because the Yanks, Jenkins and sell-outs would love an excuse (like with last seasons relegation struggle) to stall things and betray even further i.e. a case of using emotional blackmailing via propaganda/PR line that behind the scenes turmoil will effect what's going on the pitch.

Did everyone get kicked out on 31 July when membership lapsed? Do you then need to apply again to join?

I will answer as best as I can as trying to get fully up to speed An update on mediation will follow (that won't be in the 48-72 hour timescale) as soon as it can be. It has been the advice of the legal team that we do not continually update in the public domain (either on a forum like this or direct to members) but as you have pointed out the last update was almost three months ago. The plan is to get an update from the mediator on his return from holiday and then an update will be provided as soon as he advises how we proceed as clearly the key is not to weaken any legal case. This isn't a lack of desire to communicate just key that we follow his advice to the letter so nothing gets damaged. In terms of why should you join the Trust? It has been one week since the formation (appointment) of the new board so little has had chance to change however there is a key desire to make communications better. One of the key things that I would say to anyone at the moment is that there is almost certainly going to be a members consultation very soon around the share sale (no matter what the outcome of mediation) and if you would like a say in that consultation then you will need to be a member. I would encourage nobody to wait until its announced because at that time it is too late A newsletter will be sent to all members (last year) that will arrive for the weekend and copies are available at the pod this weekend I believe (as stated elsewjhere I haven't seen the newsletter) and a membership drive will follow soon but with the switchover of boards, time has been limited on that front to get a fuller strategy in place in time for anything this weekend However, the key for me is the share issue and to anyone that feels passionately about that and the part the Trust should play in the club then join is the only answer

Trust Membership Renewals on 07:57 - Aug 9 with 11552 views | builthjack | We didn't join last year because of the complete and utter mess. Let's see some proper action this year. Phil seems to be on board and holds his hand up that big mistakes were made. So I will put my trust in the trust. Don't let me down. 4 memberships will be done tonight.

Thanks Phil. I rejoin via standing order by the way - far easier. One thing I also think we need to tackle is why we only typically get 50% of the membership voting. Perhaps try and seek out one or two of those who didn't and find out reasons for their apathy, then address same? Pointless sending out a survey though as they probably wouldn't reply to that either! Maybe once the dust has settled, a general comms/"meet the new Trust" meeting at the Liberty?
