| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Also a report in the Evening Standard saying James to Man United for 15-20 million. Rumor on Twitter (I know) is that we're getting Chong on loan.
Swansea City Transfer Thread on 12:02 - May 17 with 20861 views | Badlands | TBH I can see both struggle in the PL. While Grimes has improved immensely from the start of the season t has been his adaptability that has impressed - sold everywhere. James ... has he got the natural awareness to turn his speed into something really effective in the upper echelons? No sure. His work rate and defensive duties at Swansea may be less called for in a different team and therefore he can concentrate almost solely on attack. But both will leave. What's needed? Depends if you are desperate for promotion or take a longer term view. IMO, we can reasonable expect to be in the top 6 next season with the squad we now have. So no need to spend on players who are not going to improve the team. Once again left back is light and right back also needs topping up if Naughton leaves. Surprised Tyler Reid was released as Rushesha is probably a year or two of regular fist team appearances and Govea seems injury prone. CB - fine Midfield - depends on Grimes, Celina, James and Routledge but replacing Routs & Grimes would be the most difficult. Not sure about Byers YBH head drops quickly and is prone to losing concentration. Give Asoro the same game time as James and he'll be more than good enough, might Dhanda take over from Celina? Strikers - CBR alongside McBurnie works but he doesn't seem to be capable of take up the mantle of 20 goal a season player should McBurnie leave or is injured. In addition to out of contract leavers and those loaned - players who I wouldn't mss - Fulton, John, McKay, If improvements can be brought in - anywhere really with striker, DCM and fullbacks being priority.

Totally agree with Mckay. Haven't seen anything in Asoro so far but happy to be proved wrong. Centre half could well be an issue if VDH is sold and with CCV loan spell at an end. Both Fulton and John can do a job IMHO particularly John if in the right formation

Not much to disagree with but for me John (and increasingly) Roberts are both good gong forward but not great full backs.

Swansea City Transfer Thread on 13:07 - May 17 with 20695 views | exiledinenglandjack | I’d take a look at Tunnicliffe who’s been released by millwall. Was rated in the same youth team as Pogba. Hasn’t quite clicked for him yet after Fulham and Millwall, but there’s a player there. We need Trevor to take us back to this style of player, who hasn’t worked elsewhere but given a bit of confidence here, can flourish.

I put in a post last night Brighton, with the help of an old head up front, he could do well.

Swansea City Transfer Thread on 11:27 - May 19 with 20177 views | Dr_Winston | McBurnie to the Prem for the kind of price we should be asking would be a hell of a gamble. The game is littered with prolific Championship strikers who failed to make the step up.

Woud depend on the incoming manager to some extent. If Borja hasn't sold let him earn his money with us.

He'll go, more likely Brighton now? Cardiff fans thought they might have gone for him, at least if it stops that! [Post edited 20 May 2019 17:06]

Ollie going. James going. I expect more will follow. Even our self serving Chairman buggaring off as it is so bad. This plus redundancy notices everywhere. Oh deep joy. ....and people have the nerve to diss Potter for jumping ship.

There’s a race? At last some good news. Let’s hope they don’t trip up before the finish line or realise that it’s pretty much one horse.
