Firstly, just to properly/formerly say 'Hello'. I should have done so a couple of months back when I stumbled into posting a few replies. A London native, supporting the Hoops since the mid 1970s, I was a regular standing in the home end and then a season ticket holder for many years in the SAR stand (still remember my seat, entrance J row R seat 163 in old money). Moved to Scotland (Central Belt, near Glasgow) with work and settled 20 years ago.
I was just wondering how many Scottish-based Rs supporters are out there(?)
Also, since I travel down to many of the away matches in the north of England (NW/Yorkshire/NE), who else travels down? Would be good to hook up, share journey, talk all things Rs, a few drinks (designated driver), etc.

Not from Scotland. But, I remember when I went to Leeds back in 2013 and was walking back from the ground to the station with someone who was living in Glasgow at the time. So, I'm guessing there are many who travel down for games from Glasgow, Edinburgh and the like.

I ate haggis last night, to be precise, I ate two of them, with a bit of mash and root vegetables. Delish it was, washed down by a few Belhavens. If you're ever in Boston and yearn for a Scottish culinary twist, pop into the Haven, Perkins St, Jamaica Plain.
Theres quite a few of us up here Aberdeen Dundee Perth Edinburgh me in Moray and famously Orkney. I used to drive down to Dunblane meet up with a fellow R and his sons then travel down to Northern England 4am start ! Man City Wigan Leeds Barnsley Oldham Newcastle Solo trips memorably to Tranmere (its a long way) Carlisle Middlesboro Sunderland... So Ive served my time for away days over the years
One night on the A9 on the way home I nodded off, scared the life out of me and stopped doing it
I now fly down from Inverness to Home games about twice a season stay overnight and fly back the next day when I can get a cheap flight. Theres a few stupid guys like me... last game 0- 0 Stoke jeez. Plus Ive been to the BIG games Zamorrrra, Cardiff Play off, Leeds home Faurlingate, 6-0 Palace Plus many years ago a match at Wembley but I cant remember who it was against

Onlyrinmoray, I appreciate your post. I know the journey well - I used to be up and down the A9 (plus A96 & A90) once or twice a week for many years with my previous job (Inverness, Elgin, Aberdeen). A beautiful drive, but hard going. Many's the time I've had to hurry home down the A9 at night in the winter trying to beat the oncoming snow so I didn't get stuck. I tip my hat to your dedication.

Welcome. Favourite whisky?
Easy. Ardbeg. Nectar.
I had always liked whisky - my default whiskies had been Talisker, Highland Park, Laphroiag and Lagavulin - but as much as I enjoyed them I had always thought that I wasn't quite getting it, I hadn't seen the light; then, like St Paul on the road to Domestos,...

'...many years ago a match at Wembley ...'
There are four of those to choose from Onlyrin moray, namely QPR 3 West Bromwich Albion 2 (4 March 1967) QPR 1 Tottenham Hotspur 1 (22 May 1982) QPR 0 Tottenham Hotspur 1 (27 May 1982) QPR 1 Derby County 0 (24 May 2014)
We weren't involved in any other Wembley matches, were we...?
