Yes, and when you look at those graphs, such as the one you link to showing elevated CO2 in the early Cambrian, you also need to realise that global sea-levels at that time we’re some 300m-400m above where they are now.
We’d be having beach parties half way up Black Mountain.
A fans dad - does the rate of change mean anything to you? It’s all well and good having graphs spanning millions of years showing elevated CO2 levels and higher temperatures, but it takes millions of years to get there in these natural cycles. This gives time for eco systems to adapt and evolve to the new conditions. It also meant that during this time, many species of animals and plants became extinct and new species adapt and take their place.

"A fans dad - does the rate of change mean anything to you" Let me think about that a minute. No. There are a few reasons why I am not concerned, first of all the current rate of change (roc) is approximately 1C over a Century, which is nothing new in the last 2000 years. The major increase in our current temperatures is in the overnight low and winter low temperatures, ie it is reducing the rocs. The diurnal roc is generally 5-10C in 12 hours, but can be 40C in dry deserts. The annual roc is generally also about 30-40C. So if animals can accomodate those sort of changes why would they be troubled by 1C over 100 years which they have already experienced in the last 2000 years? 1C change in temperature represents the difference between living in South Wales to living in Mid Wales ie about 25 miles south. Therefore if animals were living in an area the was at their extreme tolerance range they would only need to migrate 25 miles over 100 years. Next we come on to CO2 increases, assuming that CO2 works as advertised by the climate scientists it's "sensitivity" to doubling is Logorithmic and it is already in the logorithmic section that is heading towards a horizontal line, ie no increase from doubling. For most animals and especially humans warmer is better, there are 20 times more human deaths from cold than ther are from heat. For plants higher CO2 is better, optimum is at least 1200ppm.
We also have the fact that of the 1C increase over the last 100 years 0.5C of it is from Adjustments made to the historical data based on Time of Observation TOBs adjustments, which only leaves 0.5C. Some of that 0.5C must be natural warming. Last but not least we have the Urban Heat Island affect, where the temperature equipment is located in cities and at airports.

There’s a lot of money to be made from climate change and the Paris accord is a cornerstone in a global agreement that will see carbon credits traded on the commodities market.

Notice that this report is on Satellite derived data from 33 differnet sets of Satellites over the years. Now you may believe that satellite altimeters can measyre the seas and oceans surface to an accuracy of 1mm but I am afraid that I don't. The surface of the seas and oceans are moving continuously in 2 different directions at all times, vertically and laterally. The vertical movement is from a couple of mms to 10,000mms, the lateral movements controlled by the moon and wind also pushes the water across the basins in to humps. On top of that the data is then adjusted for Glacial Isostatic Adjustment (GIA). The most telling comment in the report is this one quote "Others have used tide gauge data to measure sea level acceleration, but scientists have struggled to pull out other important details from tide-gauge data, such as changes in the last couple of decades due to more active ice sheet melt." In other words the actual points where the water interacts with the land we live on does not reflect the "acceleration" in sea level rise in the report. For great information about this subject see http://www.climate4you.com/index.htm Click on "Oceans" and then from the list of links the second to last item "sea lvel from tide gauges". Do not be put off because this is from a "denier" site, he provides links to the original data and you can do as I did and download the data for yourself, but it is loads of work. https://www.psmsl.org/data/obtaining/map.html Or you can see for yourself and look at psmsl's own charts here https://www.psmsl.org/data/obtaining/rlr.annual.plots/
Plus of course you can also look at the NOAA tidal gauge data that they do not include in their report here https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/sltrends/ click the "Global" button to see the whole world. You will notice that apart from quite a few levels actually going negative the vast majority are in the 0-3mm class.
So how can the current average be over 3mm/year?

Don’t you start as well, it’s bad enough have one person incessantly spouting pseudo scientific claptrap.
Do you guys also think the world is flat, vaccines are a government conspiracy to make kids dumb, and than man has never been into space?

No you are the dumb one, the evidence is out there, but you can't be bothered to teach yourself. You think that Scientists dependent on Government grants can be trusted to tell the truth, they have become just as political as politicians and just as trustworthy.
As to vaccines the doctor that linked vaccines to autism did the whole world a disservice, just look at how mumps & measles have made a comeback.

Everything has a balance including scientific fact. I totally agree with the damage the human population is doing to our planet 🌎 but sadly there are people out there that are ready to make a buck out of saving the environment.

I think the best thing that could ever happen to this planet is for the parasitic human race to become completely extinct and not darken the galaxies door ever again.
Merry Christmas.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

It speaks volumes about this thread that this is one of the most sensible comments to be found here.

Are you 2 volounteering to lead the way? Do you actually think that every species of plant and animal life does not put themselves first. Do you think they say to themselves "oh we won't breed this year as it might encroach on something else's territory"? It has always been the survival of the fastest breeding, stongest, fittest, most devious, poisonous or intelligent. Every one of them would take over the world if they could, but we did for now.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Indeed. We're a quite insane species, we really are.
It's mental.
Doesn't matter if it's true or not. Reduced waste. Reduced pollution. Preservation of rainforests. Less plastics.
Surely this is stuff we should be doing regardless?

You've spectacularly missed the point.
I'm saying that there is so much conspiracy theorist, pseudo-scientific tin-foil hat drivel on this thread that a suggestion of wiping out the human race seems sensible in comparison.

Given oil and gas is due to run out in pretty short order and how, for example, the strike price of offshore wind is half the price of new nuclear, I can't begin to fathom why there isn't more focus on these technologies, let alone new ones. Given the lack of any real industry in this country any more, you'd think we'd also take the opportunity of historic low interest rates and our geographical benefits to create some new green industries such as tidal power which we could then sell the technologies around the world, what with it being a global issue.

I agree with you 100% about reduced waste, reduced pollution, preservation of rainforests & less plastics etc. But the UN & especially the EU are enacting policies that do exactly the opposite and cost far more than actually tackling those problems head on.

In what way? Not that I'm supporting current UN/EU targets which, based on the consensus scientific view, don't go even remotely far enough quickly enough.
