| Fans forum thread 21:39 - Feb 16 with 37310 views | 442Dale | May as well start it with a request: does anyone know the time it starts? Might have missed it but can’t find much promoting it recently, just this: https://www.daletrust.co.uk/20 Presuming it’s 7.30? | |

They said it would be on freeview on dale player the day after....so I am hoping that is still the plan. Hoping for plenty of feedback on here though to whet our appetite - can't get to Rochdale tonight

The last time we had problems after a new pitch laying, i posted a message to the effect that the law stated that the product ie the pitch was not of merchantible quality, therefore, the recipient ie the football club were entitled to their money back or a replacement FOC. could someone raise this with the chair tonight tosee the response Thank you.

And what were the terms of the guarantee in relation to the work carried out ? Can the cost of reparation work be claimed by means of an insurance claim against the company who did the work? There are surely good reasons to pursue a claim. Why should the club keep paying for the consequences of shoddy/improper workmanship ?

...as long as that doesn't involve groundstaff applying the wrong sand?

Whilst I take your point, the cause of buying a living thing and it deteriorating (bit like buying a healthy house plant from a garden centre and it croaking) is open to massive interpretation (i.e. how it's cared for or not). Probably way to much leeway for "proof" either way, so guessing goodwill is perhaps the only recourse?

Unless the drains are sorted it doesn't matter how good the pitch suppliers are. Would you buy a brand new carpet and lay it on a rotten floor?

Congratulations on a decent Twitter feed. Seems from my armchair in Sheffield that it's a well thought out, structured presentation.
