Its the Liverpool Council that has financial problems not Liverpool FC

Mind you the Mayor of Liverpool is a keen Everton fan and arranged for the Council to put money into buying Everton's Training ground at Finch Farm.
At one stage he also said that the Council would borrow money to assist the cost of building the proposed new Everton Stadium.
He is also keen to borrow £50m to build a new cruise terminal on the Mersey!!
