I agree Hendo has been the number 1 striker for many seasons and will be missed.
This is a real test of BBM as a manager now finding the right replacement.
Lets please stop the Ellison Talk... 10 years ago in league 2 would have been fantastic. We need to look to the future and a new look Dale not look backwards. |

Its time for a new. Time to go all in on the fantastic foundations BBM has layed so far. Now isn't the time to regress and look to 40 Year old has beens to carry us through.
Now more than ever, its a new era. Time to build on this bright young squad. We still have great experience in the squad with the likes of McShane, McNulty and Jimmy Ryan.
Today is a really sad day as we say goodbye to some of players who have contributed massively to maintaining our League 1 status for the last few years. But lets not move backwards. I for one am really excited at seeing the Squad BBM assembles once football is back. His signings have been exceptional so far, and I can't see him signing Kevin Ellison. My word.

I was thinking that last night.
There's the basis of a good, solid side at the COA.
O'Connell, McShane, McNulty
Morley, Rathbone, Ryan
Bench players like Dooley and Done.
Presuming that none of them get sold.
Someone also told me who follows Exeter that when Keohane had his best spell for them they used him further upfield in what is now called the number 10 role? Worth a try perhaps?
I suspect that Ellison will get a contract somewhere like Chester or Wrexham where he could do a job. Or even Tranmere? |  | | |
