Hopefully Trump will get a serious thumping on Tuesday and Farage‘s sad warm up routine will be a footnote in Trump‘s fall.

I see Trump is tonight blaming doctors in the US for exaggerating the number Covid deaths. Nothing he won’t say, nowhere he won’t go. Two peas in a pod the pair of them. More fool anyone who can’t see it.

Old Nigel has done his job and done his job well. He's helped lead the country out of the EU and I, for one, will be eternally grateful for his input into that historical landmark. By all means feel free to pour scorn on him & his efforts - but it's done & we have left.

As for Trump; I couldn't really care less what happens the other side of the pond to be honest. In a country of 365 million people - if Biden & Trump are the best America has to offer... then it's a sad state of affairs because neither are worthy of inhabiting the White House if you ask me.

I get that Farage delivered what you wanted, and you are grateful for that. (And I wouldn’t deny what he has acheived).

I don’t get that you can’t see Trump and Farage for the unprincipled, pompous liars that they both are. These are simple character judgements, and I wouldn’t tar all Brexit people or a right wing people with the same brush. Most are principled and decent people.

A refreshing response Ian. You and I both have different views, fom our discussions in the past, but you show understanding of the alternative viewpoint. This will get you a lot further than people who just come on here and call Boris a c...t and just saying that everyone who votes Tory is wrong.

Hold your nerve Kernow. I think that’s fear talking and you’re managing your own expectations.

The American people can’t be that indifferent to death, and to a Presidential response that includes drinking bleach.

Unless the fix is in, of course.

the truth hurts though doesn't it
How you can put faith in men like Farage is beyond comprehension

That’s probably because you’re a bit limited in comprehension generally

Actually I think it's simple.

When I see Trump and Farage, I see conmen. So I can't understand it when others don't see that and believe what they say.

I'm not sure there is any way to bridge the gap because I know in my bones that they are conmen, and I don't think that anyone could ever persuade me otherwise.

British politician Nigel Farage — who supports President Trump — was speaking about the US election and told BBC News: “The evidence for voter fraud from postal voting is there for all to see, we know it ourselves on our side of the pond.”

So, what is the evidence?

In the US — as Reality Check has previously explained - while there have been isolated cases, numerous studies have shown it is very rare. The head of the Federal Electoral Commission Ellen Weintraub has said: “There's simply no basis for the conspiracy theory that voting by mail causes fraud."

Farage — when challenged — admitted that there was “no evidence of fraud at this stage” in this US election.

When it comes to the UK (“our side of the pond”), the Electoral Commission says there is no evidence of large-scale electoral fraud in the UK.

In 2019 there were three convictions for electoral fraud and one individual accepted a police caution.
