The defending for that corner was laughable. Two failed attempts to clear and then really poor challenges on the edge of the box. It’s basics and comes down to the mentality. |

The only way we start to defend properly is for everyone in the last third to be thinking of getting the ball out of the danger zone rather than contemplating how to launch an attack. You can almost see the thought processes involved. It’s got to stop because those split seconds of thought then end up being the difference. |  |
