Before his most recent injury Ings was looking decidedly below par - sluggish and just looking very frustrated because little was working for him.

Yesterday, I thought he looked his old self. Working hard, smiling and with his ‘magic feet’ working again.

I’m wondering how many goals does he need to score in the last 9/10 games of the season to force himself back into a Euros place? He was a shoo in last year and it would be a shame if Covid denies him a chance to play in a big tournament.

I think he would need to have another good run to go. He will be in the mix (assuming he is injury free).

Ironically, the return from the first big lockdown was 9 games......as many as we had left before kick off yesterday - can we do another good run?

Do we care? Let's face it he'll either sit and watch every game like we will, or get 5 minutes at the end to run the clock down.
Id rather he stayed home and had the rest after another injury hit season.
