What's the thoughts on here in regards to a pending lockdown?
Was thinking of flying over next weekend but it's looking highly likely that another lockdown is looming...I'd assume that an announcement would be on the cards over the next 48hrs or so.

The whole charade is falling apart daily...Sajid Javid made to look clueless from a front line doctor...and now..my son has flown back yesterday after spending time with us over the festive season...he had a lateral flow test at a clinic to fly and we got his day 2 and 8 pcr tests for £79..plus the clinics €40 lateral flow test...he's been back 20hrs and been notified through his passenger locator form that a person has tested positive this afternoon...the positive test will be a result of a vaccinated person boarding the same plane without having a pre flight test...hes looking forward to missing college and having nothing more than a sniffle....the rules are illogical and punitive...fukin shambles basically

Yeah, but they won't want to give up this money stream up anytime soon 68, PCRs, Antigen tests, Masks, vaccines, all very lucrative, especially if you knew it was going to happen...

Don't the ardent Gaurdian supporters on here detest the Tory boys for lining their pockets from this shambolic charade..they've piped up about the friends of friends reaping the benefits of this situation.
