| Swansea City now very close to securing those two signings on 18:29 - Jan 24 by Chief | No, but they did say the CEO (Winter) is quite transparent in the same minutes. And he's the one who'd have more detail over specific transfer details. Interestingly there was also this:"Jake went home once games started to be postponed. I stated once more my disappointment at the absence of a club board meeting and the lack of any financial information. His reply was that it was out of his pay grade to influence! He will report it though" |
Suggests Silverstein was just here on a jolly to watch a couple of games. Winter is the CEO of a Championship football club, get rid of him if he feels he’s unable to influence.

Forgive the pun, but I don't trust anything the trust says

What about this impending legal action I was told off about. I was told it was "happening"

I'm not Resloven and getting into your pedantic threads, just more than happy the way the club is being run

| Swansea City now very close to securing those two signings on 14:22 - Jan 24 by OptimisticJack | Ryan Manning is having an excellent season. However in my opinion he has been playing out of position. He is a natural left wing back. Play him in that position and sign a ball playing centre half to replace him and that should be sufficient. |
Don't think Manning is a natural anything. Played all over the shop in his career. Was a number 10 at QPR before being converted to a left-sided player iirc. Doesn't have the pace to get up and down at wing back.

Well you're the one who for some reason decided to tell us all that you believe the SCST to be untrustworthy. I have every right to ask why you feel that way. That's not being pedantic, just inquisitive. How does being happy with the way the club is being run make the trust in some way not to be trusted?

Get rid of who? Silverstein or Winter?
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

So his username should be "IsLoyal" then? The WOl was again talking down our chances of buying anybody because we are broke. I think I'll put my faith in Keith here, he's right more than they are, far more trustworthy.

The US people have had two pretty disastrous transfer windows under the recruitment guidance of Ledbetter and McCauley. The first was the 2106 window of Borja The second was 2017 of Bony 2, Ayew 2, Clucas, Mesa. Sanches. The third was 2018 of Celina , John, Asoro and McKay (yes McKay) Silverstein is no football expert but can do his own research and can network with football professionals and advisors for a third or fourth opinion. I do not think any fan of Swansea city would have approved the signing on McKay. Most fans had deep reservations about Bony coming back. Sadly Ghana's travails again have proven the Ayew brother do not perform well together. It seems reasonable to be to suggest Silverstein might have stopped some of the worst signings of the past simply by doing due diligence. Martin has stated today that he thought "the owners would be happy with the signings" he has made. One senses Cooper would not have had much truck with Silverstein getting involved. If it stops bad signings then it is a good thing. Cooper had two or three in Peterson, Hourahaine and Kalulu.

Agreed. I have no idea how people can praise Manning’s recent performances and then question the role he’s been given in this team in the same breath. He’s having the best form of his career as a CB while he hardly tore the place up last year as a wingback
