Had the link to this sent to me by a City supporting friend. He and any other readers in the wider football fan world remain oblivious to why we are where we are and the mistakes made. The lack of empathy and acknowledgement of the feelings of a significant majority of supporters ensures that the message of “at least we aren’t Bury” and “isn’t football nasty and unfair?” is simply projected further by this article.

A totally avoidable relegation with added confusion and uncertainty (as mentioned today by the major shareholder and representative of supporters, the Dale Trust) is the real story of Rochdale AFC at present.

Let’s not change the narrative of the here and now. Especially when it’s been attempted about the past.
