You can’t not communicate because if you don’t communicate people fill in the gaps and the atmosphere around the club at the moment is such that people fill in the gaps with gloom doom. This is completely understandable given hideous season we’ve just had to endure.

The issue is Nick, the complete lack of news/communication. They could have said that we have a manager (without naming him) lined up but that appointment will not be made or until 15th June when we will officially name the appointment.
They could have said this week once we passed the 14th, who that manager is.
They could have said by now what their strategy is for the next season.
They could have said quite a bit, but instead they have said naff all.
Why is it important:-
- players will know (may be they do, but we don't know what they know);
- supporters will feel that some plan is in place
- the beginning of restoring some confidence and belief
Am I personally that bothered they have said nothing or that we are now past the 14th and I am hearing more from North Korea than I am St Marys? No, it doesn't affect my daily life but as a fan/supporter I am genuinely interested in the future of the club. |
We the fans are always kept in the dark unless the club are after money.
And of course we will be there on 5th August.
