So, how much do they get as a bonus then? Not an area I know much about.
Like the idea of giving it to the Saints Foundation - there should be something in their contracts that makes at least a 20% donation to the SF from their bonuses mandatory. I know some players wil already be doing things, in some cases quietly out of the glare of any publicity but it would not hurt to do this every season come what may.
How about a loyalty bonus for season ticket holders?? Think we are almost as deserving a case as the charities this year!! |  | | |

It will be a proportion of their salary.
Depends on what is negotiated by the players’ agents.
Could be quite a sizeable chunk though.
In some ways it suits the club’s cash flow, as the hope is that they will have had sizeable ST monies incoming to more than cover it.
It is pretty standard in the game though.
Expect there to be more transfer activity once players have received these sums…… | |
