I am seeing a lot of things written about not liking the songs the fans sing and the atmosphere.
But what is it that isn't liked? Too soft, not aggressive enough? Many saying they don't like the Pompey songs. Haven't we always sang about Pompey?
And if Saints fans are to develop new songs, what type of songs are out of bounds? Much has been written about our songs being rubbish, so what's rubbish about them? I personally like the simple ones the best - come on you reds, OWTS, red army, the passionate intense chants. Lots of people trying to make up new songs to the tune of.the bee gees or yellow submarine,.isn't all that just too complicated? [Post edited 8 Jan 17:41]

The songs about the skates are boring and make us look obsessed, the lack of originality is at an all time low, and everything is just a bit too try hard.
Fans in general could do with learning to have fun at games again, be more spontaneous and have a laugh.
Though what will probably happen is they’ll go the other direction, take it way too seriously and do a fancy dress ultra thing instead |  | | |
