I think it’s 2 loan players from the same club , but I may be wrong.
I do know you can only name a maximum of 5 loan players in the match day squad . | | | |

Just watched video of his best bits & he looks technically good. Good on the ball drifts past opposition very easily BUT seems to hold on to the ball & carry it too far. He is careless with his final ball & gives it away.
His passion to run with the ball could get us into trouble if he concedes possession in his own half when our full backs have pushed on.
But we'll have to wait & see if he signs & fits into our possession based system. | | | |

Holgate could be on his way, Everton are trying to find another club for him where he'll get more game time.
So that makes room for another loan signing.
I'd love to see David Brooks come here, I
have followed his career & he is a very talented player & had a really tough time fighting his cancer but credit to him he's battled his way back to fitness.
But who would he replace , he ain't going to come here if he isn't going to get game time.
I'd rather we got David Brookes on loan than Joe Rothwell. | | | |

Don't know much about him as a player but positionally it seems a good signing. We are a player light in the centre of the park and over reliant on Downes, Smallbone and Charles. Another experienced central midfielder provides some security for the second half of the season. | | | |

The reality of it is that we ain't going to get anyone playing regularly in Premier Lge to drop down to Championship.
But we did need extra bodies in the squad to cover for suspensions & injuries etc so this is a sensible bit of business.
Joe Rothwell isn't going to make our squad better but he does make it bigger. | | | |
