Martin in meeting tonight with owners and Parsons to discuss transfer strategy on 15:46 - Aug 5 by SaintNick

You disagree with me but then dont back much of it up with any real evidence.

I think Armstrong is a different player than he was two years ago when he played in the Premier League, he is now more about work rate and creating chances and scoring them, if any secondary striker gets 6 goals in the Premier League then they are doing ok.

As you say we don't know about BBD, all we can judge if his record at Sheffield United and that could be a flash in the pan, we won't know till we see him at this level.

It is easy to write Ross Stewart off, but truth is we don't know if he is fit or not and we don't know if he can play at this level, truth is we don't know anything about him, we can only judge him when he plays.

You say Mara & Sulemara are sh*t I wouldnt say that, but they haven't exactly set the world alight either, however how can you say they are stopping Dibling getting minutes, we know nothing about Dibling either other than he has potential, but he has never played at this level either, so we don't know what he is like.

What is a focal point up front ? a big centre forward like Tall Paul ? ok not like him but you get my point, I dont think the manager wants a focal point, he want's 3 players up front who can interchange and work hard

We need somebody who will:-

- hold the ball up and get us up the pitch, otherwise we will just get smothered in our own half for the whole game

- score at least 10 goals in the Prem

Even if Adam Armstrong does come good and increase his goal tally, he won't be able to do it all on his own.

Brereton could be a large part of the solution, but I really think we need one more out and out striker.

West Ham have been signing a lot of players, I wonder if they would let us have Antonio. Though I suspect Ings may be more likely.
