Club gives Starmer £2000? on 20:18 - Sep 19 by max936 | Any way Back to Sir Keir Starmer is it? I think it's scandalous that Starmer is expecting/getting freebies when he's robbing money off the vulnerable s, we just just got rid of a load of despicable shysters and have replaced them with virtually another load of shysters. |
You language is emotional and provocative. He is not robbing the vulnerable. The winter fuel allowance was a waste. I have not seen a frost in the lowland areas for three years. Global warming see. Those in pension credit still get it.
| Wise sage since Toshack era |

Club gives Starmer £2000? on 09:58 - Sep 19 by YrAlarch | As a committed Labour supporter I find it depressing that the Party Leader, and now Prime Minister, is accepting all these freebees on his own behalf and that of his wife. Not only is it tawdry and demeaning, given their own private means, but it's a smack in the face for those like me who (perhaps naively) believed we would see better behaviour from those who govern our country. I have become disillusioned. |
You really must be very naive to think that Labour politicians are different to the other lot

Club gives Starmer £2000? on 11:57 - Sep 19 by onehunglow | Honest stuff Triffic post I lost respect for politicians roundabout Harold Wilson's time of lying |
Really? You’re holding out Wilson as a prime example? Did you sleep through Covid , sending old folks with Covid into nursing homes, partygate, the awarding of millions in taxpayers money to their friends for PPE that was useless? I think that tops anything the Wilson government did by a country mile. Oh and let’s not forget Matt Hancock thinking of a bogus new variant to threaten us with - a touch of class that was! As for Starmer - he’s corrupt as hell. But never mind hospitality or clothes donations - how much money is a certain Middle Eastern country paying him for his complicity in their “military endeavours” both domestically and further afield? That’s the question that should be asked.

Morning. Wilson’s was the most recent I could think of Om Wilson did not have to face anything like Covid but was just as duplicitous, deceitful and cunning although a man with far greater intelligence than Johnson . Covid saw the birth of my grandson and we were unable to see his early months as we stuck to the rules whilst the xxxxxxts simply ignored the rules . I had several long term friends die of Covid and missed their funerals and wakes so when I saw and see the conspiracy chaps dismissing the virus and the subsequent vaccine then anger overtakes me and I lose focus Enjoy your Sunday

Many are just outside the range for pension credits and will suffer because of this decision, its like i said above its scandalous as is Starmers attitude with his comment that he won't apologise for making tough decisions its not the general tax payers fault for the mess the Treasury finds itself in, his attitude is pure arrogance. I didn't like the Tories and I'm not liking Labour so far either that coupled with my dislike for Starmer things aren't looking good.

Reading that MILIBAND is looking to revive plans for heat pump on boilers is another disaster in the making This will add to peoples heating bills significantly He might even instruct us to rip out our gas boilers My Gid,what have we done

Heat pumps cost a fortune to run, especially other winter months, there are grants now that do the full monty, Solar, Air Source Heat Pumps and Electric car chargers Solar panels will help to lower the cost of running the ASHP but by how much I don't know, think its to early to tell at the moment, all I know is the grants can be anything from 35/40k upwards. I've seen some installations most have been neat jobs, but one or two I've seen have been ropey and obviously been rushed. ASHP's work better with underfloor heating which is great on new builds but virtually impossible on older houses especially Terraced house's Can't really blame old Starmy for that though
