Let's all hope you're right??? With respect, I hope you're wrong here. If the main difference between RM and WS is that WS can adapt during a game, then we've got big problems.

Fortunately, I think about the only similarity between them is that they're both in their 30s. Everything so far says that they are very different people who see the game very differently, with different priorities and different ways of working. I agree it looks like WS can adapt better, but I suspect that's because he's all round less egotistical and more pragmatic than RM, which is good news.

It's very early days and a lot can go wrong for an inexperienced manager, but I'm hoping we've found one that we'll want to hang on to. Hopefully the crowd will give him some time to find a settled side and a way of playing that suits them.

I didnt say that it was the "Only" difference between RM & WS, but the "Main" one, If Russell Martin could adapt then he might well have had a chance of keeping us up, probably not but at least we would have had a shot at it
