| Injuries 00:24 - Jan 21 with 355 views | numptydumpty | Next game, i have money on Madsen and Kolli to pick up injuries. The injury guru and his team - is this all simply extremely bad luck or is all this resting in three game weeks, loading players and protecting others so they are not reintroduced too early, actually all an elaborate way so that several staff get high wages for a load of old bluff. We always have injury crises and we have several squad members that are always permanently injured. Yes we sign some players that have injury issues as they are cheaper, but is that the whole story. I can understand the theory behind the science if its elaborated on, but we never seem to ever actually prevent injurjes it seems and if this is the result of using the science, how bad could it be if we ditch it all and just play our best team and squad every single match and see how that pans out. i think we have ten casualties currently. if we ignored the science - would it be markedly worse... hard to believe it could be. RND doesn’t play 2 games straight so he was always going to be rested. But Mbengue, Dunne, Cook, Madsen, Kone, Smyth, Dembele, Hayden, Walsh…….you would find fans who would start these players even if everyone was fit. Injuries are not an excuse for tonights performance. And we can moan about fixture congestion but we didn’t make tactical subs until 75th minute! | | | |

I wonder if he is crying out to be rested, before the dreaded injury curse strikes again? We could always rest him Saturday (for say 70 mins) and slot Ronny Edwards in their? | | | |
