Matos is publicly stating there is a transfer breakthrough.

Sakyi on loan then. 😂

A club where he can get used to the bustle of the English leagues, and where the head coach, a fair chunk of his staff plus two prominent first team players are all Portugese speakers is probably not a bad place for a young Brazilian to spend six months on loan.

Wouldn't bet against that being a factor in Brentford's thinking, especially as he doesn't appear to be anywhere near fluent in English.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Excellent point but I hope there’s more to it than that.

I may be in the minority but I’m not that enamoured by Yalcouye. He came here with all the plaudits from Brighton fans but hasn’t the physicality for The Championship. Hopefully he won’t be another like that.

He can play though, still young enough to gain physical attributes and its not all about physicality anyway.

It’s not all about it you are right but you need a fair amount of it in The Championship as we see week in, week out.

I agree with you about Yalcouye. In my opinion he does the pretty stuff on the ball but is not physically strong enough and doesn't work hard enough. In time this could change but he is not doing it for us. Is this the reason a player with allegedly an abundance of talent doesn't currently start for us.

Yalcouye's number one skill appears to be falling over.
He wins a decent number of free kicks but falls over at the slightest touch. He is a long way from a Premier league regular

Has the club managed to send Benson going back to Burnley as a result of Nunes arriving?

I don't think physicality is Yalcouye's problem. It's the pace of the game. He does a lot of good stuff and then gets caught in possession because he doesn't release the ball soon enough. That's the sort of issue best caused by experience, which he's not really getting because he's in and out of the side.

Yalcoue doesnt stop running and covers every blade of grass, yes he has a couple of work ons but that is why he is out on loan
