Very sad. Seems he has stage 4 cancer and rates of survival for him are very low indeed over the next year. That said, he says he is on some new trial meds, so fingers crossed for him.

They certainly were fabulous memories, probably the highlight years of watching Saints, the Channon, Keegan, Ball era!
But equally diametrically opposite feelings when it was announced that he was leaving to go to Geordieland! I'll never forget Oz in "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" at the end of one programme declaring the same delight as we did announcing that "Kevin Keegan has signed for Newcastle!" |  |

I only remember the jam from my childhood and never the aspirin! However, you are right but at the end of his stint, despite amassing a fantastic team, we still hadn't won anything so he wasn't quite the magician we thought he would be? | | | |
