People say that its better in my bank than theres, but the reality is far from that.
If you left the say £700 in your current account rom May to July 1st (Two Months) then you would probably earn nothing, if you had it in a savings account then even if you got 3% per annum interest that would be only be equal to about £1.62 a month, so £3.24.
If you renewed early then it would enable Saints to plan with more certainty their transfer strategy etc,
So given most would have it in current accounts or very low interest accounts, then the gains are very minimal. |  |

I have an ISA account at 4.45 %. I get interest daily and pay for 4 season tickets, about £2000 that I have just paid. That £2000 made about £7 in interest since season tickets came out. £7 is better to have than not to have it. It is absolutely worth it. Why would you lose that money? I know it has earnt me about £7, so saying what have you just said is not correct. It is worth keeping the money in the bank, as it has earnt me £7!!! [Post edited 30 Jun 23:15]
