Got to put my hands up a medical was planned in for earlier today, that hasn’t happened apparently. The club were even considering doing it in Spain. The issue es a lot of social media accounts regurgitating news from three days ago which as you can expect is three days old. There’s all sorts flying about regards him being forced out of Valencia, gun to his head comments. Apparently though a certain forum with no registered owner or any details is stating Tom Coleman has all the facts.

Confident now that Almeida is going to pull out of this deal, the medical passed was Ross Stewart we are told. Our updated info seems correct. There has been a cancellation of certain aspects of the player coming in. This changes so quickly. But putting it out there I’m unsure he is coming. | |

Not doubting his quality, but this is a move that never made sense to me. Smacks of Matos wanting a specific player because he can rather than because we particularly need him.
If he wants another midfielder then a natural playmaking DM is higher on the list of priorities. [Post edited 6 Aug 7:06]
