That's totally wrong. He's signed a 3 year deal at Swansea, rather than the 1 year deal we offered him. Anyone in their right mind would do the same in his circumstances. You can't blame him for that. Blame the club for not extending his contract when they had the chance.

How is it that Swansea managed to get insurance for him for a 3-year deal, when the word on here was that Saints couldn't insure him on a deal of more than 1-year???

Spors just made a complete mess of this. Either he didn't really want Ross, or he made it look like that by being incompetent. If he'd really wanted Ross and was good at his job, he'd have found a way to get it done, as Swansea obviously did.
At the forum Spors was saying that Ross wasn't 100% committed to the club. Well why would he be when the club had opted not to extend his contract for 1 year until they changed their mind at the last minute? Meanwhile other clubs were willing to offer him multi year contracts. Of course Ross would want to look at his options in those circumstances. Why should he be 100% committed to the club if the club aren't 100% committed to him?
