Whilst it was overall a disappointing day, there were a few positives:
Some of our passing in tight situations was very good
Lissah looks capable at Championship level
Yeo can beat an opponent
Idah had patches where he held the ball up and linked up play
Just in the 10 position looks as creative as anyone we have had for a while.

Regarding the shooting, im of a slightly different view. There were a number of times when a shot frim the edge of the box was on, but as usual we looked for that extra pass which didnt come off. | | | |

Opoku stand out performer for me

Kept running the entire game. Strong, physical - very impressed.
We had 4 or 5 new players on the field today who will take time to gel.
Lissah is going to be quite a player.
Major disappointment was the injury to Burgess.
He's had a torrid time lately and some of our brainless fans dont help with their lack of empathy to a potential serious injury.
Burgess is an old fashioned centre half - maybe not the perfect fit for us as too similar in style to Cabango.
Used to think he had captaincy qualities however as of late he has shown signs of a confidence issue.
Would be a stand out performer in many Championship sides who play basic old fashioned style football - Birmingham, Lincoln or Cardiff of old for example.
I wish the lad a speedy recovery. | |

There were three huge decisions in the box that went against us.
Firstly the handball penalty that wasn't given. Not sure what the ref was watching there.
Secondly Burgess taken out in mid air for their goal. Their attacker literally jumps straight into him with no intention of going for the ball. Definite free kick.
Thirdly the shirt pull on Stamenic. Not much in it, but Newport were awarded one.
So, on another day, we could be celebrating a 2-0 win. | | | |

Our biggest issues are inability to put away chances ,allowing crosses ,not clearing ball quickly, and keeper kicking ball into touch
Best moment for me was Lissah seeing danger and blasting the ball forty yards into touch and safety
We still play 2/3 yard passes when under pressure . No need
We should play to the abilities of our players

Did he have wrong studs on , else why fall over twice and almost in exactly same circumstances
