Hang on. Aren't they under a two window transfer fee ban issued in July 2025 due to late payments owed to other clubs. It was a 3 window ban but was later reduced on appeal to a two-window restriction with a third suspended, which to my calculation finishes in the December 2026 window.

So basically you can financially cheat without consequence but spying on a training session is reprehensible

Possibly because we have gone for a youngster from a big club, who has potential and will be a low cost, rather than paying big money for a player who had a good season in the Championship last season with 23 goals, but the previous season only hit 7 in 42 games.

Vipotnik hasnt got the track record over a number of season, think Ben Brereton Diaz a few seasons ago for Blackburn or Sami Szmiodics for Blackburn in 2023/24 with 27 goals, just 4 for Ipswich in the Premier and then last season just 1 in 16 games for them back in the Championship and then 3 in 13 on loan at Derby
