your first ever gig 08:47 - May 3 with 6073 viewselectricblue

what was your first ever gig you went to and the worst. and your overall favourite gig.
Worst ever is a toss between. Either queen live at elland road in 1982 or a UFO gig at the apollo utter crap.
Best was ever is a toss up to either here and now or deeply vale festival..
Oh i seem to recall watching bon jovi in the 80' just before they released their album ans they where excellent, watched them again 6months later touring the album and they where crap walked out after 30mins..
Any one rememember Saxon always blowing their sound system at the apollo when they performed 20,000ft year after year.

Where's me jumper came on random play on my phone yesterday. Truly was an awful song.

Got all nostalgic at all the mentions of International and International 2. Drove past what I thought was the International last Autumn, and it looked to be just another fruit and veg shop these days.

1st - Was actually a festival - V99... and a blooming great line-up.

Best - Faithless @ the Apollo - immense gig

Worst - Oasis @ Old Trafford - crowd were like bleeding animals and I thought I was gonna get trampled to death, and in them days, I took some trampling on I can tell you!

Special mention - another V festival where I was 1st exposed to the wonderful custom of throwing piss filled cups in the crowd! Not really my cup of (passed through some fooker else's bladder) tea!

Poll: If possible tomorrow, which model do you choose for Dale?

Are Glasvegas any good?

I have a chance to see them in China this month. What type of music do they play?

First gig: Barclay James Harvest @ Champness Hall 1973 (part of the Rochdale Arts Festival - anyone remember that?)
Best gig: three way split between The Damned c/w The Adverts @ Middleton Civic 1977, The Fall @ Derby Hall '82, and Radiohead c/w The Divine Comedy @ Apollo '96
Worst: The Fall @ Academy 2009 - left after 20 minutes; bloody awful sound, and Smith doing his "he's off/he's back/he's off again" routine - just get on with it y'owd git!
