Great news that Jack O'Connell has extended his loan spell with us until the end of the season.

Surely a wind up...Cav is vitally important to the team. Might not be the best passer we have, but his breaking up opposition play is superb.
Still..we do have some Wierd fans.

Cav does add some steel to the team but he needs to calm down with his tackling because he looks like a red card waiting to happen at times. His booking today was a ridiculous challenge and could have resulted in a straight red. He seems to fly in at times and in this day and age refs won't put up with it. He has the experience not to do that . Reminds me a bit of Shaun Reid.

Think Cummins is to much of a risk, I to thought it was a bit odd that come the renewal of the loan deal e put's in two good performances. He's not been man of the match once in his stay despite our decent home form and we are top scorers in the league.
What ever the outcome of the New years day game we are in the mix going into the new year with a few quid coming our way from the FA cup. With Dicker and Cummins free to leave, it would be a cheeky offer to Perkins and a dabble taken on a decent big lad even for a few quid.
Even if it means the likes of Bunney going out on loan for a couple of months. Also Molyneux could also go back if not being used, as our midfield would be more than adequate.

Poll: Would we have a stronger management team with Flicker back ?

Very good news this. been a while since we have had a good central pairing as effective as Lancashire and O'Connell.
Think Cummins may be given a rest for part of the Scunthorpe game to see how gorgeous George shapes up - he might fit very well with the rapid movement and ball provision of Lund and Hendo. If it works then his part may be over allowing him to pick up his career at Preston.
Think Dale could win this next match and if so would provide a brilliant platform for promotion.

Suprised there has been no rumours from the last two home games regarding in's and out's in January.
There's usually someone on here knows something.
