In fact solent even reported on the Saturday evening that one deal would be announced on the following monday. It didn't happen.
Towards the end of the window, after the Huddersfield game Ralphs toned changed, now we didn't need to do anything and we have enough depth, which is bizarre that having worked with Vokins for over a year 90 minutes against a terrible championship side ment he was the answer at left back.
We've obviously missed out on a few signings and now Ralph has to put the spin on it that he's happy as what wasn't good enough 3 weeks ago now suddenly is. |  |

We have lost more games through defensive mistakes than any other.

As others have said we have actully weakened our team rather than strenghthened which was unthinkable really at the begining of January .

Wouldn't be surprised if we have trouble keeping Ralph if we don't back him in the transfer market.There must be quite a few admirers of the way he has dealt with the problem of losing so heavily at home and that's working with more or less with the same players. | | | |

What is our back 4 now? Is it our remaining regular 3 backs (Bertrand, Stephens, Bednarek) + Ward-Prowse? In that case, I wouldn't worry if I were you as I should imagine the owners will try to cash in on Bertrand in the summer so then there will only be a regular back 2. Of course, if Stephens continues to improve, they might get offers for him too, in which case we'd be down to just a regular back 1. [Post edited 3 Feb 2020 18:27]
