Finishing the Prem season 16:13 - Mar 18 with 1035 viewsPatfromPoole

What I have seen may happen and I think will actually happen.

The Prem clubs will miss out on a shedload of cash from SKY / BT if they do not complete the season.

Expect there to be an announcement of plans to finish out the Prem season, with all games to be played behind closed doors at 2 or 3 neutral venues, with 3 or 4 games per day one after the other all to be filmed on SKY / BT.

A bit like a mini-World Cup for TV viewers. Just with no crowds or knock-out rounds.

Season-ticket holders will probably get a code to give access to SKY / BT, preventing the clubs from having to reimburse fans for games not attended.

SKY / BT run football, so I expect this to happen.

Can't see that happening. Season will be suspended and they will try and play it out in the summer. Even behind closed doors you will get teams who have players who will either have the virus or be in isolation so they will say they are at a disadvantage. I honestly think the season might be abandoned. Shame for Liverpool isn't it.
