They themselves play an even dirtier old town for the JPL or whatever its called nowadays. Looking at Palace v WBA as an alternative on the telly I for one will be cheering the Mancs on today as at least its an obvious side to support.
Even an average League One team like Pompey should beat a poor League Two side like Salford, who have only recently come up from the 8th tier of English football, where they were playing in front of crowds of less than a hundred.
But by the end of the day, the teams below Pompey in League One will have played their games in hand on them, which should leave Pompey battling it out with Accrington Stanley and Blackpool for 10th and 11th places.
That was their 5th consecutive game without a win and you can't see them winning again anytime soon, They'll probably finish lower mid-table this season because they have enough points to be safe but if that game is anything to go by, I can see Little Pompey going back down to League Two at the end of next season.
